Facing an incessantly growing demand for energy and natural resources, samba creative designed a film for Tetra Pak, illustrating their attempt to increase the global recycling rate, as well as appealing to every single one of us to contribute to saving energy.

Rebrand for the seven Cine+ pay-TV channels I worked on at Foreign Office Design. “Essence of genre” was the motto when the new identity for the Canal+ movie channels were created. Lovers of all genres will recognize how the established key scenes infuse every channel with the appropriate feel.

Promoflow for the Iraqi TV channel Albaghdadia – a full programme with an emphasis on the social issues of the spectators, done by velvet. The Promo package includes openers, closers, packshots, in-program-promotions, creditpages and sponsorframes for the 3 genres infotainment, news, entertainment and a special ramadan version.
The main idea is based on a ribbon derived from the logo. All actions are triggered by the logo dot while the ribbon works as the ever-changing, dynamic carrier of information.

Take some magic, add a daydream and stir in a teaspoon of patience. Cream illusion and creativity together until light and fluffy. Mix everything gently and bake using unicorn rainbow power until bright and colourful. Serve hot and decorated with a glaze of love – enjoy!

Bumper package for mega TV’s fall/winter season done for velvet, including six different clips featuring the mega mou messenger as a central element. The camera is placed in different positions including the bird-eye-view watching people underneath holding the oversized messengers above their heads displaying new programme information.

Series of idents for the iraqi TV channel Albaghdadia done by velvet, including fourteen different ident clips and several bumpers.
Albaghdadia represents a full program with an emphasis on the social issues of the spectators. Independent, liberal and forward-looking. The creative concept provides a direct and personalized communication with empathy for the needs of the audience. The ident communication meets the high aims of the channel with a playful yet realistic view – the affinity to escapism is now linked to reality. The “escapes” are not set in artificial realities or dreamy landscapes, but rather try to settle fantasy and dreams within daily life in a joyful way, presenting ideas, habits or emotions that all Iraqis share.

I animated the end titles for Marius Herzog’s (scriblab) wonderful shortfilm The Tale of Mr. Rêvus, a story about how dreams for mankind are being prepared night after night and how one accidental mistake can fatally shatter the whole dreamworld.

Omorfos Kosmos is a morning show on the private greek channel Mega. Since it should be the first thing to see on TV after getting up, this redesign done by velvet, bursts with positive attitude. The concept was pursuing the idea of turning nightly dreams into reality giving it a surreal daydream-like look. So, get up, turn on the TV and let the day begin with happiness, music, surprises and beauty.

Mega channel celebrated 20 years of successful existence. For this purpose velvet‘s design team generated a serial promo package. The central elements are the loud and happy colors and the bold shape of the number 20, creating a thematical logo which can be transformed and adapted for the channel’s specific needs.

This is a trailer for the german musicfilm festival “Musikfilmtage Oberaudorf”. Taking place once a year in Bavaria the festival is screening international feature and experimental films as well as documentaries, all dealing with the subject “music” in some way.

The animated shortfilm ¡Ay Caramba! deals with the classical heroic epic, however in a special way. The “heroes“ of the story – a sponge, a salad, a car, a balloon and a pair of socks – participate in an adventurous competition and fight for the first rank. Several of them could perhaps reach the finishing line without any problems – would there not be the almighty godlike jury, who reigns over fate and does not only have an omnipresent vigilance, but also likes to control and manipulate the events. This could be in the participants’ favour, however most of the time it is their undoing. On their hard and risky way the competitors take the journey alone or as allies – but only the best ones will reach the finishing line and get the benefit of the long-awaited presentation ceremony…
